The screen comparison

We already know from predecessors that Samsung builds powerful screens with wonderful resolution. This is also the case for the S23 series. The S23 and S23+ come with a Full HD resolution. Only the Ultra model offers QHD resolution. Nevertheless, the displays are beautifully manufactured and all display content at up to 120 hertz. Therefore, the screen has not changed compared to the predecessor.

Size of S23 series

The size differences are the biggest arguments of these 3 devices. On the one hand, there is the much more compact S23, which has a dimension of 147.3 x 71.1 x 7.6 mm. The device is slightly larger than the predecessor, but the screen diagonal of 6.1 inches remains unchanged.

Then there is the S23+ (157.4 x 76.2 x 7.6 mm) and the S23 Ultra (162.5 x 78.7 x 8.89 mm). The screen diagonals of 6.6 inches and 6.8 inches haven’t changed there either.

Storage

All 3 devices offer a working memory of 8 GB. The Ultra can also be purchased with 12 GB of working memory. S23 offers an internal storage of 128 GB or 256 GB. The Plus model can be purchased with 512 GB. However, this model doesn’t offer a 128 GB variant. The Ultra offers 256, 512 GB and even 1 TB of storage. Unfortunately, the storage of the 3 devices is not expandable.

If you need additional storage for your device, we recommend the cloud service solutions. You can access your files on multiple devices and facilitates the management of your data!

Device performance

Not only the working memory is important in the performance of the device. The processor is the core element and is responsible for the overall performance. Samsung relies on the newly released Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 from Qualcomm for all three devices. This is brilliant and probably the best and most powerful chip set in the world in the smartphone market.

Camera

The S23 and S23+ don’t make as big of a leap compared to the predecessor. Both models offer the identical triple cameras: 50 MP wide-angle camera, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle and 10 MP telephoto. Samsung has upgraded the front-facing camera compared to the predecessor. It now offers a 12 MP camera.

It’s a bit different with the S23 Ultra model. A quad camera is used in this device. It features a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10 MP zoom lens with triple magnification. In addition, there is another zoom lens with a tenfold magnification (10 MP). However, the main camera (wide-angle) has a 200 MP resolution, which is much better than the 50 MP of the S23 and S23+ model. The front camera is the same as in the smaller devices and offers 12 MP resolution

S-Pen

the S Pen is available with the S23 Ultra. This is practical and precise, so S-Pen ideally replaces the sheet of paper. In addition, there are functions like Air Actions, where you can use the pen as a remote control (for example, take photos, or play music, videos and more).
