The innovations at Apple in 2023
The tech company from Cupertino California will not have quiet days in 2023. There will be a lot of work waiting for Apple that they still have to bring important products to market. At the latest on June 5, WWDC 2023 will present what is new in terms of hardware and software. Although we have to wait for the official confirmation, some Apple innovations are known anyway. We summarize the most important information for you!
iPhone 15
iPhone fans can be pleased again this year! The new iPhone 15 is scheduled for release in September 2023 with four versions. Two of them will be standard and two high-end versions. We can also assume that all iPhone 15 models will be equipped with Dynamic Island and USB-C.
Information is already leaking out that Apple’s new smartphone will get a performance increase of about 10 to 15 percent. At the same time, the power consumption will be reduced by up to 35%. Other important features should be the improved Wi-Fi 6 standard, which ensures a faster connection and low latency.
All excited about the innovation: The new AR/VR glasses!
The time is supposed to come at this year’s keynote. Civilization will be able to get to know Apple’s new product: the new mixed reality headset and its operating system. Many names such as “Reality Pro” or “AR/VR glasses” have already circulated on the Internet.
Initial information indicates that the glasses will be aimed at the professional sector for the time being. The cost also predicts that it is not for everyone: around $3,000 is estimated. The high price is justified by the fact that the glasses have advanced displays and ten high-quality cameras and sensors. We can’t wait to see what the final version will look like!
A new software package: iOS 17, iPadOS 17, MacOS 14 & WatchOS 10
Even if we did not initially expect an update of the operating system from the iPhone, we may be surprised. iOS 17 is to come with innovations, which will be presented at the WWDC on June 5.
Furthermore, the Apple Watch is also expected to benefit. First rumors leak out that the widgets will return to the Watch. However, one thing is certain: Measuring blood sugar will not be possible yet. So this function will still take some time!
Also to be expected are the new versions of macOS 14 and iPadOS 17. Apple will also present these two innovations at the upcoming keynote.
The MacBook Air with an update
Apple is supposed to renew the MacBook Air. Two new models are to be presented at the same time. Besides the usual 13-inch laptop, a MacBook Air with a 15-inch screen is to be released for the first time. It is not expected that both versions will be equipped with the M3 chip. Instead, the M2 chip is supposed to appear with two different core configurations.
